Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet T. BAŞAK completed his medical education, which he started at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine in 2006, at the Department of Neurosurgery, Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. Concurrently with his academic career, he began his professional career at the Department of Neurosurgery, Hitit University Training and Research Hospital. The cases he encountered between 2013 and 2015 later became the subject of his academic publications. In 2015, he left Hitit University and transferred to the Department of Neurosurgery, Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine. With three years of academic experience and expertise as a specialist doctor at the University Hospital, he started publishing academic articles and transferred to the Istinye University Faculty of Medicine in 2018. Based on his publications, he moved to Koç University Hospital in 2020 and obtained the title of Associate Professor. He continues his clinical studies, operations, and academic research in the field of neurosurgery at Koç University Hospital to this day.
