Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Yılmaz was born in Kahramanmaraş and completed his primary, secondary and high school education with first place. In 1994, he entered Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine and graduated in 2000. After working as a general practitioner between 2000-2007, he started his specialty training at Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery in 2007.
In 2011, he attended the Endovascular Neurosurgery seminar in South Korea and received training on modern methods in the treatment of cerebrovascular diseases. He has performed more than 1000 successful aneurysm closure operations with endovascular surgery in Turkey. In 2012, he completed his PhD education and worked as a neurosurgeon in public hospitals.
He worked as deputy chief physician at Adnan Menderes University in 2014-2015 and as chief physician in 2015-2016. In 2015, he attended the Neurointerventional Stroke Therapy Training Program in South Korea and received training on the treatment of carotid artery stenosis and successfully treated many patients. Having published more than 60 scientific articles, Assoc. Dr. Ali Yılmaz is currently serving at Şişli Kolan International Hospital.
