Born in 1979 in Istanbul, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aylin Hande Gökçe has been successfully continuing her education and professional career for many years. Graduated in 2001 from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Gökçe successfully completed her residency in General Surgery at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital between 2004-2010 and received her specialty title.
In 2010, he ranked 3rd in the thesis competition held throughout Turkey and was honored with a certificate of appreciation by the Governorship of Istanbul in the same year for his contribution to scientific studies. After completing his compulsory service at Malatya Akçadağ State Hospital between 2010-2011, he continued his career in the private health sector. He worked at Esenler Hayat Hospital between 2011-2012 and Balıklı Rum Hospital between 2012-2018. Then, between 2018-2021, he worked as an instructor at Medicine Hospital and also at Atlas University.
In 2021, Dr. Gökçe, who earned the title of associate professor, still serves in the field of obesity surgery and general surgery in his own clinic. Her specialties include advanced surgical techniques such as obesity treatment, sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, gastric balloon applications and gastric botox.
Dr. Aylin Hande Gökçe has an important academic career with 22 articles published in international refereed journals and 30 papers presented at international scientific meetings.
Drawing attention especially with her achievements in the fields of obesity surgery and general surgery, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökçe actively continues both her clinical and academic studies.
