Prof. Dr. Hakkı TANYERİ graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1979 and received the title of Professor in Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2001. He served as the head of the Department of Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Diseases at the same university and held the position of Vice Dean at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry from 2002 to 2005.

 Focusing his clinical and academic work on oral surgery, implantology, and oral diseases, Prof. Dr. Hakkı TANYERİ has gained worldwide recognition through his academic publications and congresses. He has chaired numerous congresses of national and international associations to which he is a member and has authored a total of 7 dentistry books in English and Turkish. In 1990, he served as an Honorary Registrar at Queen Mary’s University Hospital in London. In addition to practicing his profession at various universities and hospitals across Europe, he was appointed Vice Dean of Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry again in 2013.

Since 2020, he has been serving at Istanbul Kent University Department of Dentistry Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Diseases and has been the Chief Physician at Istanbul Kent University Dental Hospital since 2021, where he sees his patients.
