Prof. Dr. Nedim ÖZER graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Ege University in 1986 and completed his doctorate in the Department of Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Surgery at Dicle University in 1991.

After obtaining the title of professor at the same university in 2004, he continued his career as a clinician and academician until 2007. Following his tenure at Dicle University, he worked as the Chief of Oral, Dental, Maxillofacial, and Facial Surgery at the Provincial Directorate of Health of the Republic of Turkey until 2012. In the subsequent years, he relocated to Istanbul to further his academic pursuits and served as a faculty member at the Department of Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Surgery at Medipol University.

Currently, he continues his academic work and treats patients at Istanbul Kent University Dental Hospital.
