Prof. Dr. Onur TETİK started his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1984 and completed his specialization in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology in 1997. After completing his specialization training, he served as a specialist doctor at the University of Kentucky for a while. During his tenure, he focused on sports medicine and then returned to Turkey to start working at Ankara City Hospital. In 2002, he returned to Hacettepe University, where he had graduated, to start working as a faculty member and engage in academic research. He intensified his academic studies in sports medicine and became a professor in 2005, joining the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at the American Hospital. He continues his medical career at the American Hospital to this day.
